Application Process:

Because of staff limitations, the fund designates a three month period from January 15th to April 16th each year for the application process. The application will be available by January 1st each year. The application form should be received by KEZ no earlier than January 15th and postmarked no later April 16th for the ensuing school year.

The application package should include:

  1. Two Letters of Recommendation (At least one academic)
  2. A letter on official letterhead confirming you have performed at least 10 hours of community service in the Bronx.
  3. An official High School Transcript (Sealed)
  4. Current Resume
  5. Typed written double-spaced 500 Word Autobiographical Essay.

Because we are a Bronx chapter serving the Bronx community, preference is given to applicants who have performed community service, attend a High School and live in the Bronx, New York. Questions regarding the application process should be emailed to scholarship@zphibkez.org.


Application Hard Copy:
To obtain a copy of the current application form, submit a written request with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to Kappa Epsilon Zeta Scholarship Fund, PO Box 733 Bronx, NY 10467.

Application Deadline April 16:
Completed application packages must be sent to the Fund postmarked no later than April 16th to be considered.

Announcement Date:
The Scholarship recipient will be notified via US mail no later than June 30th.
